Baloch Liberation Army takes responsibility, 4 terrorists killed
Stock Exchange building in Karachi, Pakistan came under attack after four heavily armed terrorists stormed the building, killing four security guards and a police officer. At least nine, including four terrorists, were killed in the terrorist attack on the busy Pakistan Stock Exchange building in Karachi on Monday. Seven persons have been injured in the attack. Security forces have said that all the terrorists have been killed. Balochistan Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the terror attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange building.
Majeed Brigade, an elite unit of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), said all the terrorists were suicide attackers. According to the Pakistani media channels, the terrorists got down from a vehicle outside the stock exchange building and opened indiscriminate fire. The terrorists lobbed hand grenades at the main gate of the multi-storey Karachi stock exchange building as they tried to storm it.
As the terrorists opened fire, the people who were present inside the building panicked. They were evacuated from the back gate of the building. The police and Rangers’ officials arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. All the four suicide attackers were killed near the entrance gates. During the search and clearance operation, the police recovered AK-47 rifles, hand grenades, magazines and other explosive material from the terrorists.
