Meghalaya is one of the states in India which plays Juwai Teer lottery and it is controlled by the state government of Meghalaya and is now controlled under the Meghalaya Amusements and Betting Tax (Amendment) Act 1982. Juwai Teer is played in Shillong, capital of Meghalaya. Juwai Teer is one unique type of lottery systems where a group of archers shoot the arrows (‘Teer’ in Hindi) at a particular target, and then the participants just have to predict last two digits of the total number of arrows hitting the target.
