Congress leaders in Mizoram come forward to help those affected by COVID-19
As Mizoram continue to fight the spread of novel coronavirus, many individuals including politicians came forward to help the government and the poor, who were affected by the pandemic. Among them, three Congress leaders- Zodintluanga Ralte, Rosiamngheta and Dr Lalmalsawma Nghaka have become a source of inspiration due to their stellar act of generosity by donating ambulance vans and hiring technicians to ease shortages.
Ralte, who is the Congress legislature party leader and party treasurer, recently donated an ambulance van to Lunglei civil hospital at a time when the state government is facing a shortage of ambulance vans amid coronavirus spread. The leader also said that he will purchase a full set of RT-PCR machine to be installed in Lunglei if the government allowed him to do so.
