Three tipper trucks inaugurated at Tezpur Municipality Board

Three numbers of tipper trucks were officially inaugurated on Wednesday by i/c executive officer of Tezpur Municipal Board, assistant commissioner Antaripa Daimari at a small function held at the conference hall of Tezpur Municipal Board.

The trucks of TATA LPK Ex BS-IV make and model and 3 cu.m. capacity have been received from the Directorate of Municipal Administration, Government of Assam which will go a long way in increasing the garbage collecting capacity of Tezpur Municipal Board every day.

Former chairperson of TMB, Pushpa Deka and DIPRO Neena Baruah along with other officials and staff of Tezpur Municipal Board were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, i/c executive officer of Tezpur Municipal Board informed that one of the trucks will for now be used to collect garbage from all the quarantine centres falling under Tezpur Municipal Board area while the other two will be used for regular garbage collection activities from households under Tezpur Municipal Board.
